  • Seville Cathedral and the Giralda Bell Tower are one of the biggest and main attractions in Seville and cannot be missed when visiting the city.
  • The Giralda tower is one of the highlights of Seville and one of its most representative buildings. it is the bell tower of one of the largest churches in the world (the Cathedral of Seville is the 3rd biggest in the world) and also, is one of the finest examples of the cultural blend that defines Spain.
  • The Cathedral was originally a mosque which was later converted, giving it a dramatic, gothic appearance. The only two parts of the original structure which were preserved were the Giralda Bell Tower and the Moorish entrance.
  • The Royal Chapel, Main Sacristy and the Chapter House are all heavily influenced by the Renaissance design.
  • Visitors can tour the cathedral inside and out, visiting the tomb of Christopher Columbus, the High Alter and the golden Choir section.
